Journey
After arriving in Germany, Lakhinder Singh first lived in Wiesbaden and later began studying computer science in Frankfurt. He soon chose a different professional path, one shaped less by theory and more by enterprise, initiative, and people.
His early career began in textile trade, and over time his experience expanded into broader international business relationships. Those years gave him a practical understanding of how commerce, trust, culture, and opportunity intersect.
Purpose
Lakhinder Singh’s work is guided by the idea that cultural exchange should be lived, not merely discussed. He is committed to creating real encounters that foster trust, curiosity, and mutual respect between people from different backgrounds.
That purpose became especially visible in Trier, where he took the initiative to help establish the local branch of the German-Indian Society after recognizing that Indian culture and community were still underrepresented in the region. He helped turn that gap into a platform for connection.

As founder and first chairman of the German-Indian Society Trier branch, Lakhinder Singh supports initiatives in culture, education, social integration, and economic exchange.
